Installation & Configuration Workflow

To complete the SLNX configuration and push the CAC/PIV install to the MFP’s, configure SLNX to communicate with specific MFPs, follow this workflow. The workflow also requires on-site configuration steps that must be performed at each MFP.

Some steps must be performed at the MFP itself. Where possible, the workflow below has been streamlined to minimize physical trips to the MFPs.

  1. Upload Embedded Files to SLNX Configuration Template

  2. Configure CAC Settings in SLNX:

A Configure CAC/PIV Authentication Settings

B Configure CAC/PIV Scan Settings

C Configure Embedded Settings

  1. Create and Run Install Tasks

  2. Connect the Card Reader at the MFPs

  3. Test & Troubleshoot the Results
